Advertisement Campaigns
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro
These two advertisements were created in one of my graphic design classes – the first is a full page ad and the other is a half page ad. We were asked to choose a well-known business, research it, then create two unique and beautiful advertisements as well at three billboards. The professionally shot images used in this campaign were downloaded for free from the Samsung website. Using Adobe Photoshop, I lightly edited the highlights in the photographs to make the images pop. A slight gradient was added in the background of both advertisements creating a subtle and modern, but not distracting, backdrop. I chose the typography as well, deciding on a sans serif typeface so it can be read more easily. The final product resulted in two sleek and modern advertisements.

Palm Beach Zoo
This second advertisement campaign project was proposed by my professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Each student was asked to create three cohesive advertisements while also containing distinctive elements. Each of my advertisements were directed towards one specific target audience: one was for teachers and educators, one for kids, and one for zoo goers who may desire a Palm Beach Zoo membership. Using both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, I was able to edit, combine, crop, and mask different images to create these advertisements. I also came up with the tag lines for each advertisement and chose to offset and color orange one word in each tag line to create continuity. The zoo logo on the bottom left is one that I had created for the zoo earlier in the semester and all the information in the paragraphs below the images was attained through research on Palm Beach Zoo’s website.

Billboard Campaign
These billboard advertisements were apart of my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro advertisement campaign described above. I created each one in Adobe Photoshop, again desiring to create three unique billboard advertisements yet still maintaining continuity. I applied many of the same advertisement design decisions made to the magazine ads to these billboards such as the slight gradient background and sans serif typeface.
One of the challenges I had to overcome while creating these designs was the fact that people driving on the highway were not able to take the time to fully absorb the billboard. Losing detail and accentuating important information such as the website and product name was necessary for these billboards to be successful.
Once the advertisements were finished, I distorted each one onto a billboard template in Adobe Photoshop as well. This decision was small but necessary as it provides a more realistic presentation.
